All orders placed through our website are subject to the below return policy. All other orders placed outside our website are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% at the discretion of DataQ Internet Equipment Corp.
- Conforms to manufacturer’s specifications
- Returned product(s) must be in the original packaging with all original manufacturer's documents and parts included, or the returned product(s) may be refused.
- All sales on batteries are final. DataQDirect will not accept battery returns regardless of the condition of the manufacturer packaging.
Customer Responsibility
- Know the technical specifications of what you are buying
- Understand how the part is used in the application for which the part is purchased
- DataQDirect offers a one (1) year warranty on most products against defects in workmanship and materials if for any reason the manufactuer's warranty is not honored by the manufacturer. If at any point during this time Customer product is deemed inoperable at the discretion of DataQDirect due to no fault of the customer, it will be refunded or exchanged for the purchase price less the shipping costs unless otherwise stated by DataQDirect. Any other requests for returns must be submitted within 30 days of the order and must be approved by DataQDirect in writing.
RMA Process
- Customer must complete the REQUEST RMA FORM or submit a PDF version of the RMA Request Form to [email protected]
- Customer must describe reason for return in detail. It may be necessary to provide photos.
- RMA administrator will follow up for clarification during investigation process
RMA Freight Charges
- There will be no charge for return shipping when the fault rests with DataQDirect.
- The customer pays for shipping when returning product.
- DataQDirect pays for shipping when the RMA is valid.
- The freight carrier is responsible for costs per insurance and carrier terms and conditions.
- The customer is responsible for filing claims with freight carriers for related RMA causes.
- Invalid or denied returns for product that does not meet the conditions specified in the return authorization will be sent back to the customer at the customer's expense.
RMA Number Expiration
- RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance (unless otherwise stated at time of issue).
Return Validation
- DataQDirect engages the customer and the RMA administrator to resolve RMA related problems.
- The customer has the responsibility to engage the manufacturer for technical and application issues that may prompt an RMA (e.g. "Part doesn't work in my application.")
- DataQDirect refunds customer returns based on the condition of the manufacturer packaging. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all opened boxes that no longer remain factory-sealed.
